10 August 2012, Singapore – Since the introduction of YouTube and many other online streaming websites, fewer families are seen sitting in the living room and bonding in front of a TV set. In an effort to rekindle that bonding moment in front of the TV set, TV manufacturers are introducing SMART TVs that offer internet capabilities which allow you to surf the net, stream a YouTube video or get connected to your social network while watching TV.
LG is the first in the industry to bring 3D gaming to their LG CINEMA 3D Smart TVs. Made popular on Apple App Store and Google Play, “Air Penguin” is now available in 3D on the LG CINEMA 3D Smart TV. The Magic Remote comes with intuitive controls which can transform from a stylish pointing device to a motion-sensitive game controller.
Currently, only five 3D games like Air Penguin, Frisbee Forever, Burn The City, Downhill Bowling 2 and Diversion are available here in Singapore. LG will be expanding their 3D gaming library in the coming months.
