27 July 2012, Singapore – StraitsKitchen at Grand Hyatt Singapore is offering the Iftar buffet during the month of Ramadan till 19 August 2012.
Grand Hyatt Singapore offers prayer rooms for diners to perform the Maghrib prayers, which can be heard through the audio system, after which you could start off dinner with some dates from the Middle East.
During this period, StraitsKitchen has invited two guest chefs (Sous Chefs Sam Alam and Amro Omar) from Grand Hyatt Doha in Qatar to prepare their hearty soups, a cold and hot mezzo selection and a shawarma station complemented by tender grilled meat and fresh seafood from the charcoal grill.
Do check out the Beef Shakria, Beetroot Mutable, Mohalbabua and Samak Harra. Besides the Middle Eastern treats, local dishes such as the Hainanese Chicken Rice, Rojak, Satay and Roti Prata are available with weekly menu changes.
No buffet is complete without desserts. Middle Easter desserts such as Rice Pudding with Fresh Berries and Kunafa Bil Cream complement the traditional Asian favourites including Ice Kachang and Sago Gula Melaka.
A free flow of selected juices, tea tarik and coffee tarik comes with the buffet.
