26 July 2012, Singapore – NANTA (COOKIN’) will return to Singapore to perform at the Sands Theatre in Marina Bay Sands from 25 to 30 September 2012.
NANTA (COOKIN’) is a high-energy show that uses improvised instruments such as chopping boards, water canisters and kitchen cutlery that debut in Korea in 1997 and at the Edinburgh Festival in 1999. More than four million people across 250 cities in 41 countries have seen them perform. The group of four was in Singapore 2 years ago performing in four shows.
The show will revolve around the four chefs being put through a challenge of preparing for a last-minute Korean wedding banquet working together the manager’s incompetent nephew. The show of little conversation will be filled with acrobatics, comedy, magic and pantomime. Some lucky audience will get to sample a feast at the end of the show, engaging the audience’s five senses.

After stressing out whole day at work, a relaxing treat of NANTA (COOKIN’) will be a great way to unwind! Moreover, the show is entertaining, hilarious & mouth-watering! Moreover, as I need to prepare a dinner for a class reunion gathering soon (headache for me!), I want to learn how the cast manage to cook up with something in the last minute!
I practiced martial arts (with knives) and I love to cook. Hence this show is perfectly suitable for me!
By watching the show, I hope to incorporate some innovative moves which I can use to entertain my spouse when when cooking in the kitchen! 🙂
When Nanta first came to Singapore I was pregnant with my girl. She’ is now 8 years old and I would like to bring her to watch this. She loves music and I’m sure she will love this too!

My hubby missed out on the show cos he was taking care of my sleeping baby while we were in Seoul, Korea for holidays. Thus, i wish i can bring him to watch. Of cos, my in laws will be helping us to take care of baby this time round.
I would love to watch this because your description of the show reminds me of how Mr Bean tried to cook a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving! But this would be way more funner as there is real knives, cooking and food on stage. And best of all, the audience gets to eat the food cooked!!
I love to watch performances.
I love to watch chef whip out great dishes.
I love to eat.
NANTA offers all of the above, and that’s why I love to go watch it.
Did the show will starts approximately at 7:30pm?
yes
Everyone watching Nanta will be in for a feast and I wanna be part of it!
Hopefully I can learn from watching them some techniques and moves to impress my hubby and kids!
What a spectacular show it is going to be! Engaging all 5 senses! I wanna be part of the audience, and hopefully be the one to taste the food too!
I think it would be such a thrill watching NANTA (COOKIN’) as it would be extremely spellbinding watching how knives and other kitchen utensils are transformed into musical instruments in the hands of the performers! And besides, I wouldn’t want to miss this acrobatic cooking show which I truly believe will give everyone a choppin’, fryin’ and sizzlin’ good time!
I want to watch this as I love comedic pantomine! It would be such a laugh to see how they ‘rush’ to cook the last minute banquet; can’t wait to see the furious flying knives with equally ferocious flying laughter coming from the audience!!
I love to cook and constantly watch cooking shows all the time! This would be a very fun event as it would combine my passion for food and have a great laugh at the same time!!

I can’t cook but I love to watch people cook! Oh, the irony of it!
I have heard so much about NANTA (COOKIN’) and always wanted to watch it but didn’t have the chance to. A performance with the combination of acrobatics, comedy and with little conversation! Sounds so interesting!

It is ranked as one of the top 10 things to see in Seoul. I want to watch it to see why.
What’s not to like when you have food and Korean chefs? I want to win to watch with my Korean friend.
I really wanted to see NANTA (COOKIN’) because I like everything about Korea and since I don’t have any chance to visit Korea, it’s a great opportunity to watch this show in Singapore.
Hi,
I love NANTA! I watched their videos from youtube, I would love to win the ticket and watch it live.
