11 July 2012, Singapore – Logitech’s latest Ultrathin Keyboard Cover is a vast improvement from its predecessor the Logitech Keyboard Case for iPad 2 by ZAGG which we reviewed previously.
A much thinner and lighter casing, the bluetooth keyboard is so sleek, it almost does not add much to the thickness or the weight of your iPad while protecting the screen of your iPad. Weighing light, it is a great companion to carry around. The keys are soft and sensitive which is great for typing. However, if you do not wish the back of your iPad to be scratched, then you would have to paste a protective layer on.
The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover is compatible with new third-generation iPad and the iPad 2. It quickly attaches to your iPad with a magnetic clip which wakes your iPad up when you open the cover or switches to standby when you close it. The right side of the keyboard features an on/off switch, a micro-USB recharging port and a bluetooth device pairing button.
If you only use the keyboard two hours each day, the battery has a long lasting life of six months.
I’ve managed to get a few inquiries from curious friends who were rather impressed by this ‘cool’ keyboard. The aluminum metalic finishing of the keyboard matches the iPad. This product is not only functional, it has the cool factor which compliments the iPad.
