31 May 2012, Singapore – With industry research on consumer needs, Sony launches two new Xperia smartphones offering %xtra durability and water resistance – the Xperia go and Xperia acro S. A Japanese study conducted by Mobile Marketing Data Labo showed that more than a third of the participants stated durability as the most important feature when choosing a smartphone. The Xperia acro HD bears the same durability and water resistance features as the Xperia acro S and has been the best selling smartphone in Japan since its launch in March.
