[Review] Twelfth Night – Shakespeare In The Park

Twelfth Night

7 May 2012, Singapore – Enjoy Twelfth Night, the triangular love twists and confusion of disguise under the stars at Fort Canning Park till 20 May 2012.    Be sure to bring a floor mat to sit on, perhaps some cushions, mosquito repellant, wine or beer and some snacks while you catch Twelfth Night in the Shakespeare In The Park series.

Twelfth Night - Audience

The simple yet eye catching  stage is in full view wherever you sit.   And there are familiar faces in the cast.  Keagan Kang plays Sebastian, Gavin Low as the Priest/Ensemble, Shane Mardjuki as Duke Orsino, Neil MCaul as Sir Toby, Adrian Pang as Feste,  Seong Hui Xuan as Lady Olivia, Rebecca Spykerman as Viola, Tan Shou Chen as Fabian and many others.

It was an experience indeed.  Just a month back, I was in Sydney, enjoying La Traviata under the stars at Sydney Harbour and now back home Twelfth Night.  No doubt, I did not understand what was going on in both shows, but it was an experience that I would not go without.
