Scoot receives first Boeing 777-200 Aircraft

18 March 2012, Singapore – Scoot, took ownership of its first aircraft, a Boeing 777-200 yesterday, it purchased from parent company Singapore Airlines. The new aircraft is under Scoot’s registration 9V-OTA.

The airline expects its second aircraft on 30 March 2012. Both aircraft will get a complete overhaul, a heavy maintenance “D” check, the interior refitted with Scoot’s seats and cabin product and be painted in Scoot’s livery, before being released for commercial service.
