No Frills Airline Scoot Announces Its Product Offerings

8 March 2012, Singapore – Singapore’s latest low cost carrier Scoot announces its product offering for this pure no-frills airline. Branding their products “Fly”, Scoot plans to let guests tailor their experience on the airline when booking or on-board their flight. This is similar to the product offerings of AirAsia and Jetstar which currently flies in and out of Singapore.

Here are some of the Scootnology announced:

  • FlyBag – Airfare plus 15 kilogrammes of check-in luggage
  • FlyBagEat – Airfare plus 15 kilogrammes of check-in luggage and a hot meal.
  • S-t-r-e-t-c-h Seats – If you require more space within Economy class, these seats offer four inches more legroom.
  • ScootBiz – 38-inch pitch and 22-inch wide leather seats for more comfort with food, beverages, 20 kilogrammes of check-in baggage plus other premium services.

 

ScootBiz’s Premium Services include:
• 32-seat upfront cabin with preferred seat selection
• Leather seat offering at least 38″ of legroom, 22″ of width, 8″ of recline with a footrest
• Up to two complimentary meals with beverages, depending on the flight
• 20kg of checked luggage allowance
• Up to 15kg/two bags of carry-on baggage
• Priority boarding
• In-flight entertainment (which will be introduced progressively)
• In-seat power
• A comfort kit for overnight travel
• Fast-track check-in at Scoot’s dedicated ScootBiz counter

As for pricing, I am also as curious as you are.  Tickets will go on sales soon, according to the airline
