11 January 2012, Singapore – Usher in the year of the Dragon with the family at Jurong Bird Park.   The Rainbow lories found at the Lory Loft exhibit will be the park’s focus this Chinese New Year.

Often in flocks, these lories represent abundance which is an auspicious representation for the New Year.    You can also expect festive vibrant flowers, the traditional God of Fortune and Lion Dances as well as the park’s festive bird shows.  Sassy the sulphur crested cockatoo will also fly red packets to selected guests while Amigo the yellow-naped Amazon parrot will be wishing audiences “Gong Xi Fa Cai”

From 3 to 13 February, Hawk Cafe which is located before the entrance to the park, will dish out Yu Sheng from lunchtime at S$8 for 2, S$16 for 4, S$24 for 6 and S$32 for 10.

If you are looking to host reunion lunches and dinners, check out Flamingo Lodge at the park.  From 13 January to 6 February 2012,  you can enjoy the Sweet Success Menu at S$188+, the Good Fortune Menu at S$338+, the Wealth, Fortune and Prosperity Menu at S$438+ and the Family Reunion Meal at S$538+.
