22 November 2011, Singapore – Over the weekend, the hoarding of Hermès Scotts was decorated with graffiti art by renowned graffiti artist, Kongo. Entitled “Graffiti made by hand” kicked off Voilah! French Festival Singapore 2011’s “Off the Wall” urban art festival.

Kongo will return to Singapore on 9 December 2011 for the opening of the Hermès store at Scotts Square. Windows designed by Kongo will be unveiled during the opening. Kongo will also be creating graffiti name tags on site while guests can be captured in side the “Graff Hermès” carre designed by Kongo for the fall-winter 2011 collection at the Scotts Square atrium.

Hermès’s collaboration with Kongo dynamic urban art exhibition around the world began at its store opening at Hong Kong airport and has continued on to Berlin and Barcelona. Hermès is also a supporter of “Kosmopolite”, the international festival of graffiti co-founded by Kongo.
