What Has George Young Gotta Do With Magnolia Sherbet?

16 September 2011, Singapore – Brought to fame by Million Dollar Money Drop and The Pupil Season 2, George Young was at the media and trade launch of Magnolia Sherbet as their ambassador.  F&N Creameries has launched their latest product at major convenience stores and leading grocery outlets which retails from S$1.40 for a 85ml single serve and S$5.30 for a variety pack of four 85ml cups.

This light refreshing frozen dessert is available in 3 flavours with real fruit puree and pieces.

Luscious Lychee – Enjoy the ancient fruit from China. Song Dynasty poet Su Shi ‘Su Dongpo’ famously wrote that he ate lychees to console himself during his exile.  Maybe this flavour would give you the tranquility from the day’s storms.

Marvellous Mangosteen – Legend has it that Queen Victoria of England once proclaimed rewards onto anyone who could bring her the fresh fruit native to South East Asia.  Enjoy the floral, sweet-tart taste of the queen of fruits.

Delightul Orange – Revel in its refreshing, citrusy boost.  The fruit’s rich and invigorating fragrance is traditionally used to calm the body and to restore happiness and peace of mind.

I tasted the Luscious Lychee and loved it.  I mean, it was such a warm day yesterday afternoon at Villa Halia at the Botanic Gardens.  So it definitely cooled me down.
