12 September 2011 – German wheat beer Erdinger will be celebrating its 125th anniversary during Oktoberfest this year. As part of the celebration, Erdinger has coined a 125th anniversary tagline “A Drink For Every Chapter” to encapsulate the unwavering dedication by Erdinger to be a part of the many milestones and moments of celebration in any person’s life journey.
Erdinger Weissbräu is the only brewery to apply the elaborate bottle fermentation process on a large scale with all its yeast-containing wheat beers over these past decades.
While you may not be able to fly all the way to Erding in Germany to soak in the Oktoberfest festivities there, here’re some places in Singapore where you could do just that.
OKTOBERFEST at Swiss Club
Join in the annual German-themed festivities at the Swis Club, Open Field, from Wednesday 14th September to Sunday 18 September.
Pair fresh Erdinger draft beer with popular German delicacies such as Bockwurst, Weisswurst and Pork Knuckles to enjoy the Bavarian experience.
On 18th September, Sunday at 11am to 2pm, there will be a great family affair where children can also enjoy themselves at the bouncy castle, magic show performance with lots of cotton candy and popcorn. Adults can continue to enjoy the band performance with non-stop flow of Erdinger beer.

ROKTOBER! With Erdinger at Timbre @ The Substation
From 20 October to 23 October, continue on partying with ROKTOBER! with Erdinger at Timber@Substation. A celebration in spirit of Oktoberfest with a local touch that features beer-drinking and merrymaking, much like Singapore’s own Oktoberfest, Timbre is expecting some 5,000 visitors over the four days. Timbre will be giving 200 free beer coupons nightly on 21 October Friday and 22 October Saturday at the Peranakan Museum for the Roktober! Party.
Enjoy specially created Roktober! food menu items and chilled Erdinger beers sold exclusively at the event.
Enjoy the music of local bands sucha s The Marilyns and Cheating Sons, and New Jersey – the Bon Jovi tribute band from Australia. Rugby lovers can catch the ‘live’ screening of the Bronze-finals and finals of the Rugby World Cup 2011.
Enjoy yourself with some of the stage games such as the beer pong, sausage eating, beer ‘chapteh’ where you are supposed to play 3 rounds of ‘chapteh’ after drinking a pint of beer after each round.
