Movie Review: Bad Teacher

17 August 2011, Singapore – Some teachers just don’t give a F#*@. For example, there’s Elizabeth (Cameron Diaz).  She’s foul-mouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate. She drinks, she gets high on drugs, and she can’t wait to marry her meal ticket and get out of her bogus day job. When she’s dumped by her fiancé, she sets out to win over a rich, handsome substitute (Justin Timberlake) – competing for his affections with an overly energetic colleague, Amy (Lucy Punch). When Elizabeth also finds herself fighting off the advances of a sarcastic, irreverent gym teacher (Jason Segel), the consequences of her wild and outrageous schemes give her students, her coworkers, and even herself an education like no other.

Cameron Diaz does a great job portraying her role in the movie.  It convinced me that how she can be really bad and the trouble she went to raise funds for a boob job.  Fans of Justin Timberlake may be disappointed, as through out the movie he will look Dumb & Nerdy and not Prince Charming.  Bad Teacher is a sassy, naughty and entertainingly bitchy comedy movie.  Expect plenty of crude jokes.  So be forewarned if you’re not into crudity.  It’s a movie to be viewed with an open mind for a good laugh.  You really can’t get too serious with Bad Teacher.

I would rate this movie 2.5 out of 5, a shallow story line but two thumbs up for Cameron Diaz’s acting.  Oh by the way, it’s Teachers’ Day in Singapore on 1 September 2011. So from us at SUPERADRIANME.com, have a good one teachers, and I seriously hope there ain’t any bad teachers out there!

Directed by Jake Kasdon, starring Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Lucy Punch, John Higgins and Jason Segel
