July 2011, Singapore – Jumbo Seafood has been serving Chilli Crabs and Black Pepper Crabs in Singapore for almost 25 years.  I am pretty sure if you have been here or live in Singapore, you would have at least visited one of their restaurants at East Coast Seafood Centre, Riverside Point, The RiverWalk, Singapore Indoor Stadium, NSRCC SAFRA Resort and Dempsey.   One would recall, the huge crab claws when dining at Jumbo Seafood.

Now, you can prepare your own crab dishes at home with Jumbo Seafood’s easy-to-use retail version of the sauce and spice.  If you do not have chilli and black pepper crab in your country, you can now bring home this prepacked sauce.    Both flavours of the sauce can be used with any shellfish, besides just crabs.  The sauce would go equally well with prawns, lobsters and other shellfish.

Each box of Chilli Crab Paste weighs 150grams and serves 2 to 3 people.  Its ingredients include vegetable oil, sugar, peanut, onion, chilli padi, garlic, shallot, lemongrass, fresh red chilli, dried red chilli, blue ginger, belachan, salt, chilli powder, tumeric powder and permitted preservatives.

The Black Pepper Crab Spice weighs 22grams per box and serves 2 to 3 people.   The ingredients contain black pepper, whte pepper, butter, MSG (E621) and salt.
