March 2011, Singapore -Disney on Ice returns to Singapore. This time you will get to see the live adaption of Walt Disney Pictures Tinker Bell and Life-Sized animated characters from Disney, Pixar’s Cars in Feld Entertainment’s action-packed ice spectacular Worlds of Fantasy.
You will be captivated by four magical locations including the mystical land of Pixie Hollow and a live presentation of Disney’s Tinker Bell story, the tale of how Tinker Bell comes to life and how the fairies prepare for spring.
“To be the first to have introduced the Tinker Bell story live on ice is incredible, and we are thrilled to bring this magical tale to families across North America,” says producer Nicole Feld. “The arena instantly transforms into Pixie Hollow as we reveal the secrets of nature to our audiences with an explosion of color and magical talents.”
“From the contemporary feel of Cars and Tinker Bell to the timeless quality of The Little Mermaid and The Lion King, audiences will see four completely different Disney worlds brought to life,” says producer Kenneth Feld. “All of this provides a value that is truly unparalleled in the world of live family entertainment. More than ever before, there’s something for everyone.”
Without taking away the excitement of watching the show yourself, you can get a sneak preview of the life-sized Lightning McQueen from Cars as it moves around Singapore. Each car took 2,000 man hours to build and is outfitted with custom animatronics including blinking eyes and hydraulic lifts that bounce to the beat of the music. Mater and McQueen are fitted with moving mouths.
