15 February 2011, Singapore – The Body Shop collaborates with London College of Fashion to launch the limited-edition make up range ‘Brush With Fashion’ for Spring 2011. Available in stores from today.
‘Brush with Fashion’ comes with ultra-stylish make-up in Spring’s irresistible colour palettes which is ready to wear.
The Body Shop and London College of Fashion share similar values and beliefs. The Body Shop is renown for it’s cruelty-free makeup while the London College of Fashion which belongs to the University of the Arts London’s is the only UK college specialising in fashion education, research and consultancy. William Tempest, Jimmy Choo, Patrick Cox, Emma Hope, Jacques Azagury and up-and-coming make-up artist Nikki Palmer are amongst the esteemed alumni.
The Body Shop has integrated its award-winning cruelty-free brush technology into every product for eyes, lips, cheeks and face into the ‘Brush with Fashion’ make-up.
What’s more the packaging design was created by a German 21 year-old BA(Hons) fashion illustration undergraduate as part of a joint The Body Shop and London College of Fashion student competition. Her design is built around a make-up sketch of an eye, lips and make-up brush, giving the packaging a strong fashion-forward feel. A starburst fan effect with splashes of colour conveys the chic shades of the new collection.
