Review: Hilton Kuching – A Room With A Great View

29 January 2013, Kuching, Malaysia – Hilton Kuching is conveniently located in the centre of Kuching, Sarawak by the riverfront  with captivating views of the Sarawak River and historic Fort Margherita.   Hilton Kuching is just a 25 minute drive from Kuching International Airport and within walking distance to some of Kuching’s popular attractions.

If you hope to get great views, do request for rooms on the 10th floor and up.  First opened July 1988, the 13-storey Hilton Kuching completed its renovation in 2000 offering 315 comfortable rooms featuring contemporary decor.  The guestrooms were given a more recent refresh in 2011.

We were in Kuching last year for the Rainforest World Music Festival and were housed in the 33 sqm Hilton Guest Room which offered a very memorable view.

The amenities in the toilet include Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich range of toileteries which will leave you smelling fresh and great!  The Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Body Wash comes with micro-beads rich with Vitamins A, C, E, pro Vitamin B5 and moisture burst so you can give your skin a pampering scrub.  Or if you prefer there is also the Massaging Bar for Bath soap which features a unique massaging head to stimulate your skin.
