LEGO Star Wars Miniland Model Display will be opening in LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort on 6 September 2014 which also coincides with the theme park’s second anniversary. 2,000 LEGO models from the popular film have been created on a scale of 1:20 using more than 1.5 million bricks.
This new themed attraction will be housed in a uniquely shaped standalone octagon building which recreates seven of the most famous scenes – six from Star Wars films and one from the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Experience a specially designed pre-screening area for a LEGO Star Wars movie, a chronological walk through the Star Wars timeline featuring planets Christophsis, Endor, Geonosis, Hoth, Kashyyk, Mustafar, Naboo and Tatooine. Don’t forget to take a photo at the Hall of Fame starring main characters Chewbacca, C-3PO, Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, R2-D2, Yoda and more.
There will be life-sized LEGO models of C-3PO, Darth Vader and R2-D2 built with more than 80,000 LEGO bricks. All these models were built in various locations around the world including Malaysia, Germany and Czech Republic.
For the month of September, take part in the various LEGO Star Wars activities to commemorate LEGOLAND Malaysia’s anniversary. Enjoy free entry for children dressed up as their favourite Star Wars characters from 6 to 30 September 2014.
