Garuda Indonesia is launching dedicated service for passengers flying from Singapore to Jakarta.
The Indonesian national carrier will be adding a 10th daily flight, operating on a Boeing 737-800NG aircraft, between the two cities on 3 December 2014. GA847 will depart Singapore Changi Airport at 2.05pm and arrive in Soekarno-Hatta Airport at 3pm. GA846 will depart Jakarta at 9.40am and arrive in Singapore at 12.30pm.
The Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A330200 aircraft will be used for this route. The airline has introduced local palates on board including Ayam Panggang and Bumbu Rojak for Business Class and Chicken Dum Briyani for Economy Class passengers.
At Soekarna-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, passengers will enjoy a preferred baggage handling service and a dedicated belt for passengers arriving from Singapore. All passengers from Singapore with onward domestic destinations with a transit time of three hours or more can access the Emerald Sky Lounge.
Fares on selected return Business Class flights will be on sale from S$778 till 23 December 2014. GarduaMiles members will also earn bonus members from not through 15 December 2014. First and Business class passengers will enjoy triple miles while Economy class passengers will receive double miles when travelling from now till 15 December to any of Garuda Indonesia’s 71 destinations worldwide.
