Ninebot Mini Pro coming to Singapore

Self-balancing electric transporters have been gaining a lot of popularity around the world for the last couple of years. Since the merger of Ninebot and Segway, many have longed for an affordable & trusted consumer Segway to be introduced in the market. And the answer to that will be Ninebot Mini Pro which is the International Edition of a self-balancing two wheel transporter, Ninebot Mini, that is currently sold in China. Ninebot Mini Pro will be available Singapore from as early as 15 December 2015 at S$1,299.

For those who had place their interest at www.lazada.sg and they can purchase at a one off launch price of S$999 with delivery expected between 15 to 20 December 2015.

We managed to get a spin on the first & only Ninebot Mini Pro in Singapore before the official launch here. Check out the video below:

For first timers, it only take less than three minutes to get used to riding the Ninebot Mini Pro. You do not need to memorise any instructions on how to control the transporter as the handling is very natural and intuitive. Just stand on the board, lean toward the front to move forward, lean back to reverse, tap the bar with your knee to swift left or right, and tap more to make a turn on the spot. IT’S THAT SIMPLE!

From young to old, I think you can become a pro for the Ninebot Mini Pro in just one session.

For night riding, it comes with an aesthetically pleasing and bright light system to ensure your safety. You can even change the rear lights to different colours just by connecting it to the iOS & Android app. The app also provides status information, leader board ranking for competitions between friends and best of all, a Remote Controller to manoeuvre the Ninebot Mini Pro when no one is riding it.

There is also an extended handle hidden between the three segment bar for easy strolling the transporter when not riding.

Made of structural metal magnesium alloy body, the body is durable and light at 12.8kg. It is still portable and you can readily stow it in the car boot. On a single charge, it can cover a distance of up to 30km (long enough to travel across Singapore), with top speed at 18km/hr.  It is also capable of engaging 15 degrees steep slopes or crosses small obstacles with ease. With an intelligent battery management system (BMS) built-in, you are ensured on battery safety, so no overheating and burning up half way through your ride.

I personally love the Ninebot Mini Pro after one session with it. It is beautifully designed and well thought through on all the safety details for a smooth ride wherever you go. And with a service centre in Singapore, it gives me and many other consumers a peace of mind when it comes to after sale servicing.
