Travelling can be a hassle for the inexperienced. TUMI’s new Fall / Winter 2015 series promises to make the airport your fashion runway in shades of Peru.
The Core Collection
The core collection takes inspiration from the geography of Peru, with strong neutrals against contrasting colour blocks. Their classic and pragmatic silhouettes, including their International Expandable 4-Wheel Carry On (22060), will be dressed in a Navy/Anthracite colourway inspired by the caves in Cutervo National Park for the Alpha 2 Travel assortment.
The Alpha Bravo Leather assortment updates the popular Cannon Backpack (22385) in smooth Moss/Black, with a pop of tan leather. The entire functionality of the backpack is perfect for those always on-the-go. The separate back and front zip makes it easy for baggage checks, while fitting like a puzzle with their carry-ons.
Previously available in the Alpha Bravo camo print, the Luke Roll-Top Backpack will be coming in a luxurious Dark Brown Leather. It was designed to be stuffed. This durable backpack can hold everything you need for a short trip, from laptop, papers to clothes, with a convenient top zip for easy access.
The Women’s Collection
The Women’s collection brings together sophistication and femininity for the everyday business woman. Styles boast lightweight yet durable fabrics with elegant leather trims and details, including a contrasting ID tag. The show stealer during the preview was, no doubt, their newest Sinclair Lena Portfolio Brief in Aubergine floral prints.
Looking deceptively small and sleek, the Sinclair Harlow Backpack is capable to holding an entire laptop. It features a separate zip for the compartment just like the other backpacks in a beautiful golden zip trim, and also a slot on the back for sliding into luggage handles.
The Larkin Nora Tote gets a Peruvian upate as well. It blends superior functionality in a classic tote design that is a perfect transiton from office to dinner. Besides having a flat base, it also has the aforementioned slot for sliding onto luggage handles of their matching Tegralite series.
The Mini-Cooper Collaboration
This season also features another of their collaboration with British auto mobile brand Mini-Cooper. These bags are the epitome of functionality, where the front can be unzipped completely to unveil another bag. Depending on the “parent” bag, it can be a laptop bag or a tote.
The new TUMI collection is now available at all TUMI stores in Singapore.
