The wait is finally over, Casio G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GWG-1000 is finally coming to Singapore in September 2015. Since the announcement of the new MUDMASTER range at Basel earlier this year, it had received a lot of positive feedback from G-SHOCK fans around the world. MUDMASTER is a ruggedised, vibration & mud proof an analog & digital watch face G-SHOCK packed with Triple Sensor, made for all adventurous dudes out there.
Having tried it out myself at a sneak peek in Tokyo last week, I think the MUDMASTER is going to be a hit for active guys, in terms of both design and features. It will be retailing in Singapore at S$899.

A hybrid watch face from G-SHOCK Rangeman (large buttons) and Aviation GA1000 (analog watch face), while having the mudproof capabilities like the Mudman and Triple Sensor found on the Rangeman. Putting all the best features and designs together, Casio present us with the stunningly attractive G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GWG-1000!
The MUDMASTER is designed based on the concept of toughness and built to be a statement timepiece for men who are adventurous or working under harsh conditions. Here are the list of useful features for the tough guy:
- TRIPLE SENSOR
- Compass Bearing – Continuous direction finding for u to 60 seconds
- Altitude – Takes altitude readings every second in 1-meter units
- Barometric Pressure – Auto measurement, graphs air pressure every 2 hours and alarm notification for rapiid pressure change
- Temperature – Measures air temperature from -10°C to 60°C
- VIBRATION RESISTANT
- Using αGel in watch body like G-SHOCK GRAVITY MASTER to achieve vibration resistant
- Watch band hold screws & added washers to reduced loosening of screw due to vibration
- MUD RESISTANT
Red mark on the right indicates the crown is loosen - Buttons & body are fitted with gaskets to prevent mud intrusion
