PARKROYAL on Beach Road launches their new S$20 million stand-alone meetings and events venue in a dedicated building with direct street access which is connected to the hotel wing via a skywalk. This 576 square metre site occupies what used to be the Furniture Mall.
In the new addition are two new pillar-less ballrooms, Grand and Sky which can accommodate a total of 860 guests. These ballrooms can each be separated into three smaller meeting rooms. With a high impressive seven metre ceiling, both ballrooms offer two different views. The Grand Ballroom which can accommodate 540 guests is enclosed with gorgeous chandeliers while the Sky ballroom accommodates 320 and has floor to ceiling glass offering natural light as well as a view of outside the ballroom.
Both ballrooms feature intelligent moving headlights, mobile moving heads in the outdoor courtyard, environmentally friendly LED lighting, RGB effect pin spots to focus lights on individual tables during a banquet dinner or conference, excellent Wi-Fi access, advanced audio visual systems, Wi-Fi projectors compatible with Apple and Windows PCs and 200″ motorised screens with 7000 Ansi Lumens LCD projectors to ensure high quality and sharp projectors.
We hear the Grand Ballroom will host its inaugural wedding dinner end of August.
The Boardroom is equipped with an 84″ Multi Media Interactive smart touch screen monitor which offers online interactive media, internet TV and on-demand streaming media including news, weather, stock markets and movies or a platform for business presentations. A full HD audio video conferencing system for four-party conferences is also available in the boardroom.
The new facilities offer a new venue for weddings, private events, conferences and offsite meetings. The PARKROYAL on Beach Road has 343 guest rooms to accommodate any overseas guests for corporate functions and conferences. Ample parking space is available onsite. The drop off point and driveway can be accessed from a separate entrance off Nicoll Highway.
