Last week, Fragrance Du Bois launched Oud Amber Intense, the official perfume for Amber Lounge at the Singapore Grand Prix 2014. This is the third fragrance in a series that has been created for the Amber Lounge in earlier races, including Oud Noir Intense for 2013’s F1 night race in Singapore and Sahraa Oud for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Oud Amber Intense was specially created by perfumer Sandra Dziad for Sonia Irvine, the Founder of the Amber Lounge based on the creative vision, personal tastes and entrepreneurial spirit of Sonia Irvine.
Oud Amber Intense offers a spicy citrus opening with notes of bergamot, tangerine, black pepper and cinnamon, exuding confidence and sophistication. The fragrance was inspired from the Orient. Flowers, fruity wood notes of neroli, rose, blackcurrant and patchouli are held together with an amber accord with a finish of musk and Du Bois’ signature 100% pure, natural Oud.
The fragrance was also released in a limited edition Marcel Franck bottle. There are only 100 of these in circulation and will be sold at S$5,000 in Du Bois’ boutiques at The Fullerton Hotel and Starhill Gallery Kuala Lumpur. The 100ml bottle with Swarovksi crystal studded cap will retail at S$1,465 while the 15ml bottle retails at S$230.
Sonia visited the Fragrance Du Bois Concept Boutique at the Fullerton Hotel Singapore last week with Marussia F1 team driver Alexander Rossi to autograph booklets that detail and profile Oud Amber Intense.
