22 December 2012, Singapore – SK-II collaborates with the Singapore Committee for UN Women (UN Women Singapore) and image styling consultancy Image Flair for its recent Empower Me campaign to promote empowerment to young at-risk women.
Last Friday, SK-II in Singapore presented a cheque of S$10,000 to UN Women at Raffles City in the presence of some 100 guests and SK-II Ambassador Sheila Sim. The money would be used to fund the series of “The Empowerment Effect Workshops” in January 2013. These workshops will be conducted by image styling experts, speakers and SK-II skincare and beauty counselors to equip young at-risk women with a holistic beauty and life-transforming skill-sets.
SK-II held a series of public education forums in November and December to raise public awareness on helping young at-risk women and the importance of empowerment to build self-confidence. Customers could also spread the message of empowerment by pledging their commitment at the SK-II Empower Pledge Wall with purchases of S$500 worth of SK-II products.
