13 December 2012, Singapore – MasterCard Worldwide and Dell Asia Pacific have joined forces to offer cardholders in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan dedicated MasterCard-Dell micro-sites.   Cardholders can expect exclusive discounts, benefits and monthly specials across the 10 participating countries from now till 31 October next year.

A recent MasterCard Online Shopping Survey showed that e-commerce has been gaining steady momentum in the region with potential for further growth in Singapore.  84% of the respondents from the Asia Pacific countries have made at least one online purchase in the last 3 months.  57% of Singaporeans access the internet for online shopping with 79% saying they were satisfied and 71% will likely make online purchases in the net six months.
