4 December 2012, Singapore – James Bond fans out there no longer have to wait to get their hands on the long awaited Bond Phone, Sony Xperia V. The Sony Xperia V will be available at all M1, SingTel and Starhub and Sony stores island wide from this Saturday, 8 December 2012. Sony Xperia V runs on Google Android 4.0* (Ice Cream Sandwich) will be available in Black and White with a retail price of S$698 without contract.
*Will be up-gradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) from Mid Q1 2013.
Sony Xperia V is the first LTE (4G) enabled device in the market with Water (IP57) & Dust (IP55) resistance features, making it your choice for an all-weather smartphone. The bright and sharp 4.3″ HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine reproduces crisp and clear picture and video playback.
Weighing at 120g and only 10.7mm thick, the Sony Xperia V is also packed with Near Field Communications (NFC) technology for seamless connectivity with other NFC enabled devices, like the cute Sony NFC Speaker which is not available in Singapore yet.
Music and camera features are further enhanced with Sony’s Walkman feature, EXMOR R image sensor and Superior Auto mode found in Sony Cyber-shot cameras. The Sony Xperia V is an all rounder water resistant smartphone for the beach.
