26 November 2012, Singapore – Oyster Bar offers a relaxing environment with an open kitchen and an extensive beverage menu of champagne, wine and pretty strong S$28 cocktails by mixologist Naz. Their food offering includes a variety of oysters freshly shucked, prepared as shooters or baked as well as canapes, salads and dessert. The oysters average S$10 each.
Enjoy the view of Marina Bay Sands in the foreground and the relaxing environment at Customs House along the Marina Bay. The standalone glass house offers oysters flown in from mostly France, while the sun dried tomatoes are made in-house, and organic garlic and New Zealand barn eggs are being used. Expect pricing to be on the high side.
Oyster Bar serves seafood from sustainable sources and avoids WWF’s ‘choose sustainable seafood’ programme’s ‘avoid’ list.
Oyster Bar is located at #01-01 Customs House at 70 Collyer Quay and opens daily from 11am to midnight and closes at 2am on Saturdays and eve of public holidays.
