AirAsia Big Move Big Fun Rally In Bangkok To Celebrate The Airline’s Move To Don Muang Airport

5 November 2012, Bangkok – Thai AirAsia attracted 287 teams of three throng from Suvarnabhumi to Don Mueang to commemorate the low cost carrier’s move to Don Mueang Airport.

The rally route began at Suvarnabhumi Airport and progressed along the Airport Rail Link (Suvarnabhumi to Phaya Thai), connected to the BTS Skytrain (Phaya Thai to Mo Chit), included an RC hunt game at the Chatuchak Train Yard (Chatuchak Park) and ended with a marathon from the yard, down Vipavadee Road to the finish line at AirAsia’s counter at Terminal 1 of Don Mueang Airport.

Prizes for the rally were divided into 3 categories; “Walk, Run, Fun!” which was divided between men and women and allowed participants to collect points towards a prize and “Dress to the Max as if Everyone Can Fly”, which rewarded participants for their colorful and creative costumes.  The prizes included cash, air tickets and stays at Sri Panwa Phuket, all together totaling over 1 million THB.
