30 October 2012, Orlando, FL, USA – Hard Rock International expands its hotel locations with the grand opening of Hard Rock Hotel Cancun last week on 18 – 21 October 2012.

To celebrate the opening, legendary guitar smash and performances by Grammy-Award nominated band Goo Goo Dolls and Grammy nominated, international recording artist Flo Rida performed at the all inclussive collection’s third all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun.

The 12-storey Hard Rock Hotel Cancun has more than 600 rooms, five restaurants and five bars and lounges on the property.  It provides 45,000 square feet of meeting space.  There are a variety of attractions ideal for work, family and play.  The property will host live concerts in keeping with the Hard Rock tradition.

Gettys hospitality experts designed the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun which features a signature “Welcome to the Jungle” design.  The larger than life guitar-shaped driveway provides the ultimate VIP entrance, followed by the lobby’s neon-lit glass staircase, sheer metallic curtains and dramatic lighting to enhance the custom rockstar memorabilia lining in the walls, showcasing signature pieces of Paul McCartney, Melissa Etheridge, Alice in Chains and others.
