15 October 2012, Singapore – Low cost carrier Tiger Airways is now offering customers an add on premium service Tiger Plus offering customers a dedicated check-in counter, access to a premium passenger lounge and priority boarding serviceBoardMeFirst at a nominal fee.
Tiger Airways is the first low cost carrier to offer access to SAT’s Premier Lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 2 where the airline recently moved to last month after the closure of the budget terminal to make way for Terminal Four. You can enjoy free flow of refreshments and beverages, shower facilities, comfortable lounge seating and massage chairs, workstations with high-speed internet connectivity and wireless internet access, cable television, and a wide selection of international magazines and newspapers.
Tiger Plus is available for Tiger Airways, Mandala and SEAir flights departing from Singapore at S$48 from www.tigerairways.com or at the service desks at Changi Airport Terminal 2. You can also opt for early Check-in from 4am to 11.59pm on the same day as your flight.
BoardMeFirst priority-boarding is available on Tiger Airways and SEAir flights for S$6 per person per sector. Enjoy priority fuss-free boarding with this service so you can guarantee space for your carry on luggage in the overhead compartment during your flight.
As part of Tiger Airways’ initiative to expand its product and service offerings, the airline has also recently launched a brand new mobile app for Android, iPhone and iPad platforms allowing you to book tickets, select seats and search for deals from your mobile device. Other services launched includes TigerShop Online and Online Tigerbites – inflight-menu for TR-designated flights operated by Tiger Airways Singapore to/from Singapore.
