Samsung ATIV Smart PC (Blue) & Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro (Black)

3 October 2012, Singapore – Samsung unveiled their Windows 8 line up of Samsung ATIV PC series, All-In-One PC Series 7 and the Series 5 ULTRA Touch Ultrabook that comes with touch enabled display. This extensive range of Windows 8 devices will be available in Singapore from 26 October 2012.

Samsung ATIV Smart PC & Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro

Combining the mobility of a tablet, Samsung S Pen technology found on GALAXY Note and the processing power of a laptop, the Samsung ATIV Smart PC series is the next wave for mobile smart devices. With accessories made to match different lifestyle needs, you can either use it with a wireless keyboard or a detachable keyboard docking system that transforms the tablet to a clamshell laptop.

In terms of the design, the Samsung ATIV Smart PC & Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro looks pretty similar except for the thickness with the latter being slightly thicker and heavier. The display for Samsung ATIV Smart PC is 11.6″ HD (1366 x 768) while the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro is 11.6″ Full HD (1920 x 1080). The major difference will be the Samsung ATIV Smart PC runs on Intel ATOM Processor with 9.8 hours on video playback while the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro runs on Intel Core i5 Processor with 5 hours on video playback. Price point for Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro will be a premium price, whereas the Samsung ATIV Smart PC is set at a more affordable price range.
