24 June 2012, Singapore – Universal Studios Singapore will be the home of extremely adorable Sesame Street characters from end May this year. Look out for Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie and other Sesame Street characters at meet and greet sessions as well as some of the street shows at the theme park.

From 28 May 2012, a new 12 minute Sesame Street performance called ‘When I Grow Up’ will take place at the steps of New York Library. It will feature a cast of all-time Sesame Street favourites, including Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, Grover and Abby Cadabby.

There are two other street shows titled ‘Our Favourite Things’ and ‘Dance with Bert and Ernie’. During the June school holidays, you can catch these new Sesame Street shows.

In quarter three this year, you can look forward to a special rise-and-shine breakfast programme where you can have a fun dining experience with your Sesame Street friends while feasting on a breakfast buffet spread at Loui’s Pizza. This will be held on selected weekends and holidays from 9am to 10.30am. This breakfast is not included in the day pass to Universal Studios Singapore which means you’ll need to reserve your tickets online or purchase them onsite.

A new indoor ride will also be launched in the second-half of the year within the New York zone. No details of this ride has been announced yet.
