23 July 2012, Singapore – Canon fans, the wait is over! Canon today announced their first mirrorless camera, the Canon EOS M, as well as the new EF-M lenses 18-55mm f3.5/5.6 IS STM and 22mm f2.0 STM. Whats more, the new Canon EOS M not only works on the new EF-M lenses. With a EF-EOS M Mount Adapter, it is fully compatible with all the EF/EF-S lenses available in the market. And the standard horse shoe mount also means existing Canon Speedlite Flashes will work on EOS M too.
The new Canon EOS M system will only be available in Singapore in early October 2012, with pricing to be confirmed at a later date.
