9 July 2012, Singapore – Singapore low cost carrier Scoot launches its fifth route Taipei ahead of schedule with a 48 hour crazy sale today 9am till 11 July 2012 9am (Singapore time).
Flights to Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport will commence 18 September 2012 instead of the originally planned October this year. Scoot will fly from Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 at 1.05am and arrive in Taipei at 5.40am and depart Taipei at 3.40pm arriving in Singapore at 8.10pm. The Singapore-Taipei flights will start as a three times a week flight. The airline will increase the frequency to daily from 29 October 2012. It hopes to continue beyond Taipei to Tokyo’s Narita International Airport subject to regulatory approval.
