20 June 2012, Singapore – Since its announcement in October last year, Canon’s ultimate professional (DSLR) camera, Canon EOS-1D X, is finally making its way to Singapore this weekend. The Canon EOS-1D X will be available at authorised Canon retailers from Fri 22 June 2012 at the retail price of S$9,299 (body only). The Canon EOS-1D C which can capture video in 4K resolution (4,096 x 2,160 pixels) will be available later half of this year.
The EOS-1D X’s key features include:
- Record-breaking continuous shooting speed of 12 frames-per-second, making it the world’s fastest full-frame DSLR
- New Dual DIGIC 5+ image processor
- 18.1MP full-frame (35mm) sensor
- Image noise control improved by 2 stops
- Next generation high-density reticular 61-point AF system
- New shutter unit with carbon fibre shutter blades promises 400,000 shutter count
- Advanced EOS Movie features for better compatibility with video production workflow
- Dust-proof and drip-proof magnesium alloy body, with new carrier wave-based dust removal system
