Entertainment Lineup Update for Singapore Formula One Grand Prix

26 April 2012, Singapore – This year’s 2012 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX will offer guests a stellar in-circuit entertainment line-up including Bananarama, Pretenders and The Proclaimers, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Jay Chou at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

United Kingdom’s singing-songwriting duo Sara Dallin and Keren from Bananarama will perform at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre in Zone 4 on Saturday, and the Village stage in Zone 1 on Sunday.

The PRETENDERS will perform their hits like ‘I’ll Stand By You’, ‘Brass In Pocket’, ‘Don’t Get Me Wrong’, ‘I’m Not In Love’, ‘Stop Your Sobbing’ and more at the Village stage in Zone 1 on Saturday, and the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre in Zone 4 on Sunday.

Scottish twins Charlie and Craig Reid of THE PROCLAIMERS, who have a new album Like Comedy out this May, will be performing at Zone 1’s Village Stage on Friday and Zone 4’s Esplanade Outdoor Theatre on Saturday and Sunday.

From 1 May 2012, 9am, Single-Day Zone 4 Walkabout tickets will be released for sale. Enjoy promotional rate of S$38 (Friday), S$108 (Saturday) and S$148 (Sunday) for the first 3,000 of these tickets sold each day, limited to six tickets per transaction.

After the 3,000 promotional tickets have been sold, the Single-Day Zone 4 tickets will sell at S$58 (Friday), S$128 (Saturday) and S$168 (Sunday).

From 1 May 2012, group bookings of four or more tickets in a single transaction for Pit, Padang, Bay and Esplanade Waterfront Grandstands will be accorded 17% discounts. For group purchase of eight or more tickets, you will enjoy up to 25% off.
