9 April 2012, Singapore – Singapore will be one of the first few countries to get the new Subaru BRZ sports car when it go on sale worldwide. BRZ, short for Boxer engine, Rear-wheel drive, Zenith, features Subaru and Toyota’s jointly developed Boxer engine that give new owners a superior steering response and driving pleasure, making it a fun sports car that provides ultimate driving pleasure.
Subaru BRZ is defined by five characteristics:
- Power, courtesy of the unique Horizontally-Opposed Subaru Boxer engine – first engine of its kind to combine Toyota’s direct and port fuel injection technology, with Subaru’s new generation Boxer engine, enhancing the car’s responsiveness and fuel efficiency
- Lowest possible centre of gravity – the BRZ is capable of delivering a new level of handling precision
- Lightweight and highly rigid body – the high-tensile steel chassis is solid and precise
- Advanced in-car electronic system for vehicle stability control – keeping the driver in control as it pushes the BRZ to its limit
- Elegant design with excellent aerodynamic performance – the elegant and stylish look is definitely a head turner when driving on the road
The new Subaru BRZ is now available at both Subaru showrooms at 25 Leng Kee Road and 19 Lorong 8 Toa Payoh.
