Must-Know: The New iPad Launch This Friday 16 March

• 4G on the new iPad does not work on any of SingTel, Starhub or M1 networks in Singapore at the moment. That is why Singtel indicated “The 4G model for the iPad is not compatible with the LTE service offered in Singapore”
• IDA Singapore plans to upgrade the current 4G network to the same bandwidth the new iPad operates in, sometime in the future. So till that happens, you can only use the 3G network on your new iPad here
• Mobile Data price plan bundles for the new iPad are pretty much the same across Singtel, Starhub and M1, except for Starhub’s monthly subscription plan is S$41.30 with 10GB data while Singtel’s and M1’s subscription is S$40 with 10GB data
• Singtel and Starhub offers MultiSIM bundles for existing and new MultiSIM subscribers. Singtel’s offering isS$10 cheaper than Starhub on the new iPad for all 4G models
• Singtel is selling the new iPad online at www.singtelshop.com/ipad from 1201am Friday March 16. It will be offering free home delivery from as early as 3am Friday, 16 March
• M1 will be selling the new iPad at their Paragon flagship store from Friday, 16 March at 1201am, visit www.m1.com.sg/iPad/ for more information
• Starhub will be selling the new iPad on Friday, 16 March from 8am onwards at Marina Bay Link Mall, Bugis, Plaza Singapura and OUB StarHub Shops, visit www.starhub.com/ipad for more information
• The new iPad will also be available at Courts Friday, 16 March at Courts Megastore, Causeway Point, Orchard and Toa Payoh
