Changi Airport Will Build New Budget Terminal – Terminal 4

1 March 2012, Singapore – Changi Airport’s Budget Terminal has more than 4.6 million passenger movements last year. The Budget Terminal will close 25 September 2012 to make way for Terminal 4.

Terminal 4 will have a capacity of 16 million passengers per annum. The terminal will not have aerobridges and will have a wider choice of retail and food and beverage outlets.

Airlines operating at the Budget Terminal will shift to Terminal 2 on 25 September this year. They include Berjaya Air, Cebu Pacific, Firefly, South East Asian Airlines and Tiger Airways.

Construction of Terminal 4 will begin in 2013 and will be in operation by 2017.
