28 September 2011, Singapore – Samsung’s first Windows Phone 7.5 smartphone, the Omnia W featuring a Super AMOLED display and People Hub was launched today in conjunction with Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7.5 launch.

– Integrated 14.4Mbps HSPA connectivity for high-speed data browsing as well as instant sharing of videos and pictures
The OMNIA W comes with these Samsung-exclusive productivity apps
– Samsung AllShare for seamless content transfer between the OMNIA W and other DLNA-enabled devices such as HDTV’s, monitors and digital cameras.
– Video Call allows ultra-fast vivid 3G video conversations with friends and family
– Mini Diary to capture your experiences in multimedia formats and create your own personalized digital journal on the go
– An upgraded Samsung eBook client is available from Samsung Zone
– Get up-to-date news and events with Now 2.0 app
– RSS Time allows RSS feeds for newspapers, magazines and blogs to be downloaded onto the OMNIA W

The OMNIA W is expected to be available in Singapore by Q4 at S$498 (inclusive of GST) without line contract.
