26 April 2011, Singapore – Singapore-based Luxury Media Inc Pte Ltd launches VIP, a monthly magazine for me. Published under the license form Lake Shore Pres Inc, publisher of Playboy, the magazine is targeted at affluent males 28 and above and is circulated in Singapore through select book shops, newsstands and private databse.
Previously published in Singapore under a different business organisation and headed by a different team, the title is being repositioned as essential reading for men and women of sophistication, particularly heads of businesses, professionals and high society. The contents are targeted at the well-educated, well-travelled, highly acquisitive individuals with high disposable incomes and propensity for luxury.
Raymond Khoo, the Chief Executive of Luxury Media Inc believes that this is the right moment to launch a title like VIP.
“I decided to pursue and secure the license for VIP in this climate of creative innovation. It took me almost a year to secure the license but it is well worth the effort. VIP is our flagship title and a benchmark for our other activities.
“Another objective is to bring world-class luxury events to Singapore targeted at a much larger and sophisticated audience. We will also develop custom events as we go along. A number of the signature events, such as the Jazz Festival and Rock the Rabbit, is very popular in the US. We are developing a few more including Aphrodisiac Affair and A Arts that are tailored to the tastes and demands of the local market.
Khoo also revealed plans to launch radio station that listeners can access via phone apps. A lineup of talents has been identified to host a variety of programmes. “We will continue to develop VIP. It is our flagship title and a benchmark for what we strive to deliver to the market.
Is Luxury Media Inc, still in business?
I am trying to obtain an issue of VIP, but can no longer reach anyone at Luxury
