Sands SkyPark gets ready to receive guests on 24 June
500 first-day tickets go on sale with each ticket-holder receiving an exclusive commemorative cap
Singapore, 18 June, 2010 – Soaring 200 meters above ground and sitting atop the Marina Bay Sands three hotel towers, Singapore’s newest architectural marvel with a 67-meter observation deck, the Sands SkyPark, will open to members of the public on June 24. At exactly 2pm, the first lucky person will get to experience the view from one of the largest outdoor observation deck in the world.
Some 500 exclusive tickets, priced at S$20, for the first day can now be bought in advance through the Marina Bay Sands website at . These ticketholders will also get a commemorative cap after their tour of the observation deck. After the first day, tickets will be priced at S$20 for adults, S$14 for children (aged between 2 – 12 years) and S$17 for senior citizens (aged 55 years and above).
From June 25 onwards, the public can purchase the tickets to the Sands SkyPark Public Observation Deck from the box office located at Marina Bay Sands Hotel Tower 31. The Public Observation Deck will be open daily from 10am to 10pm.
Marina Bay Sands President and CEO Thomas Arasi said, “We are ecstatic about opening Singapore’s most iconic structure to members of the public on June 24. At exactly 2pm, the very first person will get to experience the view from the top from what is undoubtedly one of the greatest architectural feats of modern times. Sands SkyPark will be a must-visit destination and will certainly put Singapore on the global map.”
Apart from taking in the stunning views, visitors will learn about the construction of the SkyPark through a complimentary audio guide, which allows visitors to hear commentaries on key commercial and historic parts of Singapore, all of which can be appreciated from this unique vantage point. Visitors can also enjoy a SkyPark Photo experience, manned by roving photographers. Souvenirs can be purchased from the SkyPark gift shop located at the lobby of Tower 2.
Also opening on June 24 is the 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height. This facility is available to hotel guests only. The 1.2 hectare Sands SkyPark will also feature exclusive entertainment options and restaurants, including The Sky on 57, when fully opened.

2000 tickets have already been sold on the day of the opening. Do note that the capacity is a maximum of 600 visitors at any one time. The Public Observation Deck will be open daily from 10am to 10pm.
